Hemp Roots from Nepal Necklace

I finished the necklace!!!! I have combined aluminum cylinders, hemp yarn, recycled silk yarn from Nepal and hand dyed red wool. I drilled holes into the aluminum in order to be able to crochet and stitch through the metal and make the metal look like the "roots" have grown around the metal. I had so much fun making this piece it evolved so many times. It was as if the piece was guiding me to where I should take it. The "roots" are quiet stiff and stay erect.
Now on to my next project... I don't know yet which idea I will me pursuing next, but that's half the fun.

Keep Buzzy!

Love it!!! Just looking at it 'takes me away'. I can literally see myself at a very footloose yet stylish party somewhere in the Caribbean...Just the necklace and a cover up would do-oh yeah, and a pina colada...Miss T in the ATL

Hello. My wife and I bought our house about 6 months ago. It was a foreclosure and we were able to get a great deal on it. We also took advantage of the 8K tax credit so that definitely helped. We did an extensive remodeling job and now I want to refinance to cut the term to a 20 or 15 year loan. Does anyone know any good sites for mortgage information? Thanks!
