This is what I'm working on.

Just kidding! My very fabulous mother in law has gifted this incredible 1950's "How to Crochet" book to me. Do you think she is trying to tell me something heheheh. The book is filled with amazing Vogue type shots of these starlet type women wearing these intricate patterned sweaters, hats, headbands, chokers and also has tons of doilies turned into table clothes and bed covers, really fun stuff! This was definitely inspired by the Arts and Craft Movement. Ahhhh this is what the evil industrial revolution did... Ahhhhh the evil technological revolution, it's all happening again, this is why sites like Etsy and ten's of thousands of craft sites are so popular and why people want to have one of a kind hand made objects. The major difference is that now we have and use technology as a tool... better tools which make for a faster process to compleat the task quicker. Read about the Arts and Craft Movement it's incredible how history repeats itself and not in a bad way like gaucho pants but in a good way.

Keep Buzzy!

I love that photo, when is that era (well not that particular hat) going to come into style again? I think it was such a tailored, sleek time for fashion. An updated version of those styles would be VERY welcome by me! Hookerville has taken over all the fashions I see around here lately! Miss T in the ATL
